Als Emilia einen versteckten Garten mit hängenden Blumen findet, zeigt ihr die moosige Elfe Pip, dass nicht Wasser, sondern freundliche Worte alle ein Stückchen aufrichten.

Behind the old stone wall, past the curtain of ivy, Emilia found a secret round garden nobody else knew. Every bud there drooped low, gray and sleepy. She stopped at the edge, holding her teapot can tight, not quite ready to step in.

A mossy little sprite popped out from behind a fountain. "I'm Pip!" he said, hopping twice. "Come closer, friend. These flowers just need warm, gentle words." Emilia took a small, brave step forward.
