Clara, die Nebelnetze und die durstigen Bäume
Alter 6–8

The fruit trees in Clara's orchard drooped like tired umbrellas. No rain had fallen in weeks. "Our water tank is almost empty," her grandmother called from the porch. "Drop by drop, we'll figure something out," Clara said, tugging her sun hat down and marching toward the misty ridge.
At the top of the ridge, Clara found Mara stringing a tall net between two wooden posts. "Every morning the fog rolls in thick as wool," Mara said, smoothing the mesh with her calloused hand. "Drop by drop, I've caught its water for years. Come closer and see how."
"Fog isn't rain," Mara explained. "It's tiny drops of water floating in the air, too light to fall. The net just catches those tiny fog drops as they drift by on the wind." Clara pressed her loupe to the mesh and gasped at the silver beads clinging to every thread.
