A crinkly paper, old and brown! Sofía smoothed it flat upon the ground. A dotted trail wiggled here and there. 'A map!' cried Sofía. 'Let's follow it, Canela!'

Sniff, sniff, sniff went Canela's nose, tracking a trail that only she knows. Out the gate and down the lane— Sofía held tight to Canela's leash and its chain.
