अर्जुन और टॉमी नाम का तारा

आयु 4–8

जब टॉमी चला जाता है, तो अर्जुन इतना उदास और इतना गुस्से में होता है कि इस बारे में बात ही नहीं कर पाता, जब तक कि एक फूल, एक याद और एक नन्हा चमकता तारा उसे नहीं दिखा देते कि प्यार कभी खोता नहीं, बस अपना रूप बदल लेता है।

The house felt too quiet. No little paws pattering. No happy snorting sound by the door. अर्जुन sat on the porch steps, arms crossed tight, and did not want to talk. Not one bit.

"I don't want a new flower," अर्जुन said, kicking a pebble off the path. "I want things back the way they were." His chin wobbled but he would not cry. Not today.

He stomped past the flowerbed three whole times. He would not dig. He would not plant. "It won't bring टॉमी back," he said, voice cracking just a little at the end.
