Ezra and the Library of Lost Sounds
Ages 3–5
When Ezra feels overwhelmed by a noisy, busy day, he discovers a secret quiet place where listening to tiny, gentle sounds helps him regulate his emotions.
Children learn that seeking out quiet, rhythmic sounds like a ticking clock or a rustling leaf can help ground them when they feel overstimulated or dysregulated.

The world felt very loud today. The clocks ticked, the doors creaked, and voices buzzed like busy bees. Ezra felt a tight, jittery hum inside his own chest.
Everything was too much. Ezra needed a place where the noise could rest. He reached into his pocket and touched the smooth wood of his tuning fork.
Behind a heavy velvet curtain, the floor changed. The air felt still and cool. Ezra had found the Library of Lost Sounds.
