Ezra and the Secret of the Whispering Attic
Ages 6–8
When Ezra discovers a series of numbered wooden blocks hidden in the attic, he must decode a secret path through the dust and shadows to find a long-lost family treasure.
Children learn that patience and careful observation can turn a mysterious, quiet afternoon into an exciting and rewarding adventure.

Ezra climbed the creaky stairs to the attic. Sunlight danced through the round window, lighting up the dust that swirled in the air. He noticed a small, carved wooden block sitting on an old trunk. It had the number one painted on it in bright red. Ezra wondered what it could mean.
He picked up the block. It felt heavy and smooth in his hand. Tucked right behind it was a tiny scrap of paper with an arrow pointing toward the bookshelf. Ezra tucked his watch into his pocket and started to follow the path. He felt like a real detective on a secret mission.
At the bookshelf, Ezra searched high and low. He moved a heavy book and found block number two hidden behind a blue vase. It was tucked away so carefully that he almost missed it. Ezra smiled, knowing he was on the right track now. The mystery was getting interesting.
