ユイのおまつり大さくせん

にぎやかで明るいおまつりで、ユイはほんの少しのあいだママを見失い、とても長く感じる数分を過ごします。それでも落ち着いて計画を思い出し、安全にして、助けを求め、もどる道を見つけます。
The fair was loud and the fair was bright — popcorn, music, a Ferris wheel light! ユイ, in her striped shirt and overalls, held ママ's hand at the striped gate. "Stay close," said ママ, "and have a great day."
Before they went in, ママ knelt down close. "If you ever can't find me, remember our plan." ユイ nodded big and said the words: "Stop. Stay. Ask a helper. Say your numbers."
They watched the prize ducks bob and spin. They munched warm popcorn, kernel by kernel. ユイ laughed at a clown on tall wobbly stilts!
