지우과 초코의 크리스마스 이브

지붕 위에서 이상한 쿵 소리가 들리자, 초코이(가) 귀를 쫑긋해요. 지우과 초코은(는) 잠든 집 안을 살금살금 걸어가요. 순록의 당근은 사라졌고, 초코의 이름이 적힌 크리스마스 깜짝 선물이 기다리고 있어요.
The house was still. The tree lights blinked. Stockings hung soft and low. Then—THUMP! 초코's ears shot up like little tents. Something was on the roof!
초코 pressed close and nudged 지우's hand, eyes wide and round. 지우 rubbed her sleepy eyes and sat up tall. "What is it, 초코? Did you hear that too?"
초코's nose twitched toward the ceiling. "Someone's up there," it seemed to say. 지우 grabbed her tin bell tight. Together they crept to the stairs, quiet as snow.
