Maya and the Biggest Hug Ever

Ages 0–6

When Maya asks Grandma and Grandpa just how much they love her, the three set off across the garden to prove it: bigger than the ocean, higher than a kite, and longer than the longest train.

A gentle reminder that grandparents' love is boundless, steady, and always just a hug away.

"Grandma! Grandpa!" Maya called, swinging on the old tire swing. "How much do you love me?" "Bigger than the ocean," said Grandma Rosa, "higher than a kite, longer than the longest train. Come see!"

First stop: the duck pond! Maya stretched her arms out over the water as wide as they'd go. "Bigger than THIS?" she asked. The ducks bobbled. Grandpa Theo let out a great big "HA!"

"Not big enough!" laughed Grandma Rosa. "Our love is bigger than the whole ocean, and this pond is just a puddle beside it, like that, my sprout." Maya giggled and splashed one toe in.
