Sofia and the Brave Stone
Ages 5–8
When a laugh at her glasses stings, Sofia finds a strong, calm voice, walks away tall, and discovers that speaking up brings friends closer than ever.
Children learn a clear, safe script for responding to teasing: say a firm sentence, walk away, and tell a trusted adult.

Morning sun spilled gold across the schoolyard. Sofia skipped in, glasses catching the light, feeling proud, feeling ready. Her pocket held the small Brave Stone, smooth and cool, just like always.
Near the dome, a boy named Dex pointed and laughed. "Ha-ha-ha! Those glasses look silly!" The laugh landed like a splash of cold water, right in Sofia's chest.
Sofia's cheeks went warm and prickly. She wanted to hide. But her hand found the Brave Stone, round and steady, tucked deep in her pocket. "Stop," she whispered to practice. "I don't like that."
