Lily's Rainbow Plate Challenge

Ages 3–6

When a cheerful talking carrot dares Lily, who does NOT like purple foods, to eat one food of every color before bedtime, Lily discovers that trying something new can taste like a wonderful surprise.

Trying new foods is an adventure, and a bite of something new might just become a new favorite.

Good morning, Lily! Sunlight peeks in bright. Something wiggles on the counter — is that carrot alive? "Hop over, Lily!" it squeaks. "I'm Crunch! Let's eat a whole rainbow before the sun goes down!"

"I don't like purple," Lily says with a frown. "Never have, never will — not one bite, not now!" "We'll see," winks Crunch. One more color, one more bite — the rainbow's growing bright!

First comes RED — a juicy strawberry round! Lily takes a bite... sweet and bright! "See?" cheers Crunch. "That's one color found!" One more color, one more bite — the rainbow's growing bright!
