Nia's Lemonade Stand Plan
Ages 5–8
Nia wants a shiny new kite more than anything, so she builds a lemonade stand and learns the sweet, coin-by-coin plan of saving, spending, and sharing.
Kids learn the simple, joyful habit of splitting earnings into save, spend, and share.

Nia saw a kite in the shop window—red, gold, and shaped like a swooping bird. "I want that kite," she whispered. But kites cost coins, and her pockets were as empty as a jingly summer sky.
"I know!" said Nia, jumping up. "I'll make a lemonade stand!" Mr. Petey, trimming his hedge next door, chuckled and waved a hand. "Best idea I've heard all summer, little one!"
Nia painted a big wooden sign: LEMONADE, ONE COIN A CUP! She squeezed lemons until her arms ached, and Biscuit sniffed the bucket, sneezing at the tangy sour smell.
