Hiro's Moving Day Adventure

Ages 3–7

On moving day, Hiro says a gentle goodbye to every corner of his old home, packs a memory box full of little treasures, and discovers a brand-new nook in the new house that becomes his very own.

Saying goodbye to a place can go hand in hand with making a new one feel like home.

"Goodbye, goodbye, to the tall front hall!" sang Hiro, small beside the boxes so tall. The old home stood empty, quiet and bare, but Pip in his pocket said, "Squeak — I'm right here!"

"Goodbye, goodbye, to the kitchen so bright!" The pots gave a clatter-clink, joining in right. The fridge hummed low, the counters bare — his favorite cookie spot used to be right there.

"Goodbye, goodbye, to the creaky old stair!" the thirteenth step that always needed care. Pip squeaked so loud on every hop, Hiro laughed out loud and almost forgot to stop!
