Omar and the Friendly Check-Up

Ages 2–5

When it's time for a check-up, Omar discovers that the doctor's office is full of gentle surprises, a heartbeat to hear, a rocket-scale to ride, and a brave sticker waiting at the end.

A calm, familiar walk-through of a doctor visit helps children feel curious and brave instead of scared.

Check-up day! Omar holds Bo tight, peeking through the door. "Brave and true, that's what I'll do!" he whispers, watching the room glow warm and gold.

"Welcome, Omar!" says Dr. Mina, a warm-faced woman doctor with curly brown hair tied back, round glasses, a white coat over a soft lavender shirt, sleeves dotted with tiny star patterns. Omar steps onto the cloud rug, holding Bo just a little tighter.

First stop: the rocket scale! Omar steps up, then pauses, gripping Bo close. "Go on," Dr. Mina smiles. "Brave and true, that's what I'll do," Omar says, and climbs aboard.
