Leo's Eight Nights of Light

Ages 3โ€“8

Each winter night, Leo wants to light one more candle all by himself, spins a wobbly dreidel, and discovers why a little oil once burned for eight whole nights.

Family shares a book of small, warm rituals โ€” light, story, and togetherness โ€” that grow brighter, and braver, every night.

Night one. One small flame wakes up in the dark. "I want to light the next one all by myself," Leo whispers. "One more candle, one more light!"

Night two. Two flames now, dancing side by side. "One more candle, one more light!" Leo claps his hands, and Sammy the kitten bats at shadows on the wall.

Night three. The dreidel spins on the wooden floor, wobbling like a dizzy top. Nun, gimel, hey, shin! "Spin it again!" Leo giggles, and again, and again.
