Omar and the Golden Rule Cape

Ages 3–5

When Omar finds an invisible cape hiding in the closet, he learns it only shines gold when he treats friends the way he wants to be treated.

Children practice the Golden Rule and gentle, respectful leadership — asking, listening, and giving thanks instead of ordering others around.

Omar tiptoed into the closet, past boots and old kites. "What's THAT?" he gasped — a shimmer, a curl, a thread of golden light right where his shoulders would be!

"A cape? For ME?" Omar laughed, spinning around the bedroom. But when he looked in the mirror, the gold light had already fizzled away to nothing at all.

The cape gave a tiny hum and one last golden sparkle, floating toward the door like a firefly. "Follow you?" Omar grinned. "Okay — let's go shine!"
