Leo and the Great Race Cheer

Ages 3–5

When Leo loses the big tricycle race, he feels the sting of disappointment—until he discovers that cheering for a friend can feel even better than winning.

Children learn that big feelings like disappointment can be breathed through, and that celebrating a friend's win builds joy and connection.

Three tricycles waited, shiny and new. Milo, Nella, and Leo lined up too. "On your mark, get set—GO!" called the wind. The race was on, and the fun could begin!

Pedal, pedal, Leo zoomed! Wheels went whirr past the big striped slide. His little bell jingled bright and merry. Could he win? Oh, he sure could try!

Milo's legs pumped fast as fast could be! Nella giggled, wheels spinning free. Leo pushed harder, cheeks turning pink— would he catch up before the end of the track?
