Leo's Secret Sunshine Note
Ages 3–5
When Leo notices his teacher looking tired, he makes a small, secret sunshine to leave on her desk — no name, no fuss, just a quiet gift from the heart.
Children learn that the warmest kindness is the kind we give without needing anyone to know it was us.

Craft hour buzzed at the round table. Crayons rolled, scissors snipped, glue stuck to everyone's fingers. Leo looked up — and saw Miss Delphine rub her tired eyes by the window. Tiptoe, tiptoe, went a little worry in his chest.
"Miss Delphine looks sleepy," Leo whispered to Ruthie. Ruthie shrugged and kept gluing feathers on her paper bird. But Leo's tummy felt fluttery, like a question with no answer yet.
Leo thought about the days he felt sleepy too — grumpy, slow, wanting a hug. What made him feel better? A warm blanket. A silly song. And sunshine, always sunshine.
