Nia and the Sparkle Crayons

Ages 3โ€“5

When Nia unwraps a brand-new box of glittery crayons, she discovers that sharing them with a classmate makes the sparkle shine twice as bright.

Children learn that sharing something special doesn't shrink its joy โ€” it multiplies it.

Nia skipped into the art room, satchel bouncing, and set a brand-new box on the table. Inside sat crayons that shimmered like tiny rainbows โ€” gold, teal, and glittery pink, never used before.

She popped open the lid. Ooooh! The crayons sparkled like stars caught in a box. Nia could not stop smiling at her shiny new treasure.

Across the table, Milo colored a lonely sun with a stub of brown crayon, worn down to a tiny nub. It scratched and skipped and barely made a mark.
