Eli and the Great Forest Express
Ages 3–5
When the old stationmaster hands Eli a golden pocket watch, he becomes conductor for a day, punching tickets and keeping the forest express running on time for all its furry passengers.
A gentle story about responsibility and order, showing children that being trusted with a small job — and doing it carefully, one step at a time — feels like a big achievement.

Old Bramble the owl blinked and smiled, and into his hand he placed the watch. "Today, Eli, YOU are the conductor. Keep us all in order, tick by tick!"
Eli clicked the watch open — tick, tick, tick! "First things first," he said with a grin, "I'll check my ticket stack before we begin."
Up hopped Pip the squirrel, quick as a spark! "Me first, me first! Let's start with a bark of the whistle, then all aboard the forest express!"
