Kofi's Backyard Campout Night
Ages 3–5
Kofi finally gets to sleep in the big tent in the backyard, and with a big sibling close by, he turns every rustle and hoot into a small brave adventure.
Naming a scary sound out loud turns fear into knowledge, and that small brave habit is what helps a child feel safe trying something new.

Tonight was the night! Kofi, in his soft navy star pajamas, carried a rolled-up sleeping bag past the old oak tree toward the little dome tent glowing gold in the almost-dark. The porch light glowed warm behind him.
"Ready, Kofi?" asked Mika, holding back the round tent flap. Kofi peeked inside at the two cozy sleeping bags waiting side by side. "Ready!" he grinned.
Inside, Kofi set the little brass lantern in the corner. It glowed gold, like a tiny sun just for the tent. "My favorite job," he said, patting it softly.
