Milo loved his wooden racecar best of all. Red wheels, smooth and fast, it zoomed across the porch — until one big gust of wind sent it rolling, rolling, right toward the garden hedge!

"Come back!" called Milo, running down the steps. But the racecar was gone, vanished into the tall green hedges. He took a deep breath. Time to look closely — time to be a detective, someone who follows clues! Track by track, clue by clue!

A flutter of orange! A small robin named Pip landed on a leafy branch, chirping brightly. "Tweet tweet! I saw where it went!" Could a little bird really help solve a big mystery?
