Nora's Sandbox Harmony

Ages 3–5

When two friends fight over the shovels, Nora builds a plan where every pair of hands has a special job, and one wobbly sandcastle turns a squabble into a triumph.

Children see how naming everyone's role turns a conflict into teamwork, and that a leader's job is to listen first, then build together.

Nora loved the sandbox best of all, with its two wooden shovels tucked in the sand. But today Milo grabbed one, and Pearl grabbed the other, and neither one wanted to share!

"That shovel is MINE!" said Milo. "No, mine!" said Pearl. Sand puffed up like little clouds. Nora tilted her head and thought: every good team needs a plan, not a pull!

Nora pulled out her little tin whistle and gave it one bright TWEET! "Wait!" she called. "What if we build something so big, we need BOTH shovels — and more hands too?"
