Aisha's Big Kid Bed

On the first night in a new big kid bed, Aisha and trusty bear Bosun sail a cozy dream-sea and learn that the big bed is a safe, snug place to sleep.

A gentle, simple story for ages 2-3 that turns the crib-to-bed transition into a warm, safe adventure, showing a young child that the new bed is a cozy, secure place, not something scary.

No more crib tonight! Aisha has a big kid bed. It is soft. It is new. "Hop on!" says she. Bosun hops on too.

The blanket is a sail, soft and blue. Up climbs Aisha, and Bosun climbs too. "Ready?" asks Bosun. "Ready!" says Aisha. Off sails the little bed-ship again.

The rug turns into a soft blue sea. Little waves ripple, wild and free. "Look, Bosun! Waves!" says Aisha with glee. The bed-ship rocks gently, one, two, three.
