Aisha and the Forest Fairy's Broken Wing

Ages 3–5

While exploring a mossy garden, Aisha finds a tiny fairy with a torn leaf-wing, and must use gentle hands, garden tape, and spider silk to mend it before sundown.

Aisha learns that gentle, careful hands can fix what is broken and that helping someone small is a big, brave act of kindness.

At the edge of the garden where flowers turn wild, Aisha tiptoed in, quiet as a cloud. Something glimmered near the old fern tunnel. Little steps. Little steps. What could it be?

There! On a curled leaf, a tiny fairy trembled. Her wing was torn, drooping like a broken kite. 'Oh,' whispered Aisha, kneeling close. 'Little steps. Little steps. I won't hurt you.'

Willowen chirped a tiny hiccup and scooted back. Aisha sat very still, like a stone, like a stump. 'It's okay,' she said softly. 'Little steps. Little steps. I just want to help.'
