Noah and the Attic Carpet Flight

Ages 3–5

When a hummy old patchwork rug wakes up in the attic, Noah climbs aboard for a soft, floaty dream-tour of the sleeping neighborhood before drifting safely back to bed.

A gentle bedtime dream of floating and calm, with one small caring moment of soothing a frightened friend, helps a child practice winding down and ending safely tucked in bed.

Up in the attic, where quiet things sleep, an old wool rug began to peep. Hmmmmm, it hummed, low and slow—a bedtime song from long ago.

"Hello, Buttons," Noah said with a yawn, patting the patchwork rug like a fawn. Hmmmmm, it hummed, a gentle chord—the softest sound he ever heard.

He hopped aboard with a happy little bounce. Buttons rose up, just an inch, then an ounce! Hmmmmm, it hummed, and floated free—three soft feet above his knee.
