Diego's Firefly Lantern Guide

Ages 3โ€“5

When the woodland's babies lose their way home after dark, Diego lights a magical firefly lantern and, with a brave little owl friend, guides every lost creature safely back to its burrow.

Children see that being a calm, caring helper for others is its own kind of light in the dark.

Deep in the woods when the sky turned blue, a small voice hooted, "Who? Who? Who?" It was Pip the owl, wings all a-flutter: "The baby animals are lost โ€” oh, what's the matter!"

Diego lifted his lantern, so cozy and grand, with fireflies glowing warm in his hand. "Don't worry, Pip," he said with a grin, "this hollow old wood holds the light to begin!"

First came a bunny with ears drooping low: "I can't find my burrow โ€” which way do I go?" Diego held up the lantern, so bright and so true. "Follow the fireflies, little one, I'll help you!"
