Kofi and the Grandmother Oak's Golden Acorn
Ages 3–5
Every morning Kofi visits the old oak tree that Grandma Elm has tended since his own childhood, and one day the oak gives Kofi a single golden acorn to plant—and discover that the best magic takes time to grow.
Children learn that patience turns small hopeful acts into wonderful surprises, and that waiting itself can be part of the magic.

Every morning after breakfast, Kofi and Grandma Elm went to see their favorite friend: the old oak at the garden's end.
"Good morning, old friend," said the oak with a creak and a groan. Its bark peeled back to show a face, kind and gently grown.
"You've watered me and hugged me every springtime, every fall. Today I have a gift for you," the old oak said to all.
