Chloe's Sky-High Cloud Swing

Ages 3–5

When morning light spills over the hills, Chloe weaves sunbeam ropes and a plump pink cloud into a swing, and when a rope slips loose high in the sky, her own cleverness saves the day.

Encourages imaginative play and problem-solving: children see that with creativity, a calm head, and a little courage, they can build joy out of everyday wonders — and fix what wobbles along the way.

Morning came soft and gold, spilling light like honey. Chloe woke on a floating island, and felt the sky calling: today, she would build something wonderful.

"I will build a swing," said Chloe, "a swing that touches clouds!" Sunny Wick blinked awake nearby, glowing bright. "A seat that floats, a rope of sun — go on, go on, the fun's begun!" she chimed.

First came the ropes: sunbeams warm and strong. Chloe reached out and gathered light, coiling it round and round like golden thread.
