Lily and the Garden of Flying Strawberries

Ages 3–5

When ripe strawberries sprout tiny wings and flutter free in an enchanted garden, Lily must learn to hum a gentle song instead of chasing, coaxing every flying berry safely home to her basket.

Gentle patience and a soft song can coax even the shyest, flightiest things to come close on their own.

Lily, in grass-green overalls and the wide golden sunhat, tiptoed past the strawberry patch. Then—flutter, flutter!—tiny wings popped open on the ripest berry, right past her nose!

Wings popped out everywhere—one, two, three! Soon a whole berry-bobbing swirl looped around Lily's sunhat. Would they stay, or would they float away forever?

Pip the garden sprite fluttered down onto a leaf. "They only fly when they're happy," Pip chirped, "and happy berries need a gentle song to bring them home!" But which song?
