Hana and the Dancing Slippers of Wildflower Meadow

Ages 3–5

When Hana finds a pair of magic slippers, her dancing feet wake up a whole bare meadow with blooming flowers and feather-light leaps.

Movement itself is a kind of magic — this story celebrates a child's growing coordination and joyful, playful confidence in her own body.

Hana watched the bare brown hill, wishing it had color still. A little box lay in the grass — 'Magic slippers,' read the glass!

She slipped them on — a perfect fit! Then felt a tingle, toe to hip. 'These shoes can dance, and leap, and change!' Pip chirped, 'Now isn't that so strange!'

She tapped one toe upon the ground — a bluebell burst up, bright and round! 'Tap, tap, twirl! Watch flowers bloom!' A bloom-burst chased away the gloom.
