Aisha and the Silver Bell of Spring
Ages 3–5
When winter refuses to let go of the village, Aisha sets out with a silver bell and a carved whistle to melt the snow, wake the crocuses, and gentle the wild North Wind into a warm spring nap.
Children learn that patience, kindness, and a little courage can soften even the coldest, wildest things.

Snow lay heavy on Aisha's village. She tugged on her quilted coat, tied her golden scarf, and lifted her silver bell. "Time to wake up spring," she whispered, stepping toward the frosty pines.
Ring-a-ling! went the silver bell as Aisha walked the village path. Wherever the small sound floated, snow softened into puddles, and one brave crocus poked up its yellow head to see the world.
Ring-a-ling! Ring-a-ling! Snow melted along the crooked fence, and three crocuses bloomed together, nodding their sunny heads. "Sing with me," Aisha called, and she rang the bell again, louder this time.
