Arjun and the Backstage Prop Sleuth
Ages 6–8
Minutes before the school play begins, the royal crown vanishes backstage, and Arjun must piece together a timeline of clues -- mirror by mirror -- before the curtain rises.
Careful observation and reconstructing events step-by-step can solve a tricky problem -- and teamwork makes the search even better.

Ten minutes to curtain! Backstage buzzed like a beehive. Then Oskar burst through the costume rack, face pale. "The crown!" he cried. "The royal crown is gone!" Arjun froze mid-step, magnifying glass swinging on its cord. The opening scene needed that crown -- and it had vanished into thin air.
"Okay," said Arjun, kneeling by the empty velvet cushion where the crown should sit. "Crowns don't just walk away. Someone moved it -- or something did. Let's find out who was here last." He pulled out his notebook. Nadia nodded firmly. "I'll list every actor who passed this table today."
The first dressing room mirror was ringed in glowing bulbs. Arjun studied its reflection carefully. "This mirror faces the prop table," he said. "Whoever stood here could see the crown -- and maybe reach it too." Nadia snapped her fingers. "The lead actor got dressed right here, ten minutes ago!"
