Amara and the Riddle of the Mirrored Writing
Ages 6–8
When Amara discovers an old diary written entirely in strange backwards script, she must use a hand mirror and clever angles of light to unlock a forgotten history hidden for a hundred years.
Kids see that patience and a clever tool—not magic—can turn a baffling puzzle into a satisfying discovery.

One warm afternoon, Amara climbed the attic ladder, brass-rimmed mirror tucked in her jacket pocket. Behind a stack of trunks, something leather-bound peeked out beside a pile of old inventor books. "What are you hiding?" she whispered, pulling out a dusty diary with a cracked cover.
Amara opened the diary and gasped. Every single page was covered in strange, looping letters that ran the wrong way, like a puzzle no one had ever solved. "I can't read a single word," she said, tracing the odd shapes with her finger.
Old Whiskers hopped onto the trunk beside Amara, sniffing the diary and knocking one of the old inventor books to the floor. It fell open to a page with a strange drawing. "Look at it sideways," Amara murmured, tilting her head at the odd picture.
