Eli and the Skatepark Wallet
Ages 6–8
When Eli finds a wallet stuffed with a thick fold of bills at the skatepark, he must choose between quick riches and doing the right thing.
Children see that honesty and community respect are worth more than any prize, and that grown-ups can help them do the right thing safely.

The skatepark buzzed with wheels and laughter, wheels clacking on concrete. Eli, in his bright orange hoodie and navy shorts, zoomed down the big ramp on his green star skateboard. "Watch this trick!" he called to Milo and Nora, grinning wide as the wind whooshed past his ears.
Rolling to a stop near Mr. Higgins's flower bushes, Eli spotted something brown poking out of the dirt. He knelt down and tugged it free — a fat leather wallet, its edge showing a thick fold of bills. "Whoa," he whispered, his eyes wide.
Milo skidded over first, eyes huge. "That's SO much money!" he gasped. Nora leaned in close. "You could buy every video game ever made," she said, grinning. Eli just stared at the wallet, his heart thumping fast, his fingers tight around the leather.
