Sami and the Calm, Strong Voice
Ages 6–8
When a playground bully shoves Sami to start a fight, he finds a stronger power than fists: a calm breath, a steady voice, and the courage to tell a grown-up.
Children learn that true strength is staying calm, using clear words to set a boundary, and telling a trusted adult.

Recess bell! Sami raced out to the playground, silver pendant bouncing on his chest, wearing his red zip-up jacket and striped yellow-and-white shirt. The sandbox sparkled, the swings creaked, and the striped ball waited by the climbing dome. "Race you to the dome!" called Priya, her two braids flying behind her purple overall dress.
Sami grabbed the striped ball first and grinned. "Got it!" Marco, in his green striped shirt, stomped over, arms crossed, cheeks red. "That's my ball. Give it here," he snapped, planting his plain brown shoes firmly in front of him like a wall.
THUD! Marco shoved him hard in the chest. He stumbled back a step, breath catching. "Oof!" Priya's braids froze mid-swing as she gasped. The whole playground seemed to hold its breath, waiting to see what Sami would do next.
