Priya and the Everyday Hero Search
Ages 6–8
On one busy neighborhood day, Priya sets out to find the secret ingredient of a true hero, and discovers it was inside her all along.
Real heroism is made of small, everyday choices—courage, empathy, honesty, and kindness—not capes, fame, or superpowers.

Priya loved superheroes—capes, powers, the whole shining idea of them. "Milo, what REALLY makes someone a hero?" she asked one bright Saturday morning. Milo shrugged. "Dunno. Let's go find out." She grabbed her notebook. Today, Priya decided, would be a hero hunt. But where would they even start?
At the corner market, an old shopping cart sat crooked in the parking lot. A woman in a coat wheeled hers back neatly instead of leaving it. "That's it! She must be secretly rich, or famous!" said Priya. Milo laughed. "Or maybe she's just... nice?" Priya wasn't so sure. Could it really be that simple?
"Maybe heroes have powers we can't see," Priya whispered, stepping into the apartment lobby with Milo close behind. Just then, a man's arm reached out to hold the wobbly elevator door for a boy carrying a huge box. "Whoa," breathed Priya. "Was that super strength?" "Nah," said Milo. "Just good timing."
