Leo and the Library of Lost Things
Ages 6–8
When Leo discovers that the neighborhood's lost items are hiding in the park, he uses his keen eye and kindness to reunite everything with its owner.
By paying attention to the small details and helping others, children can become the heroes their community needs.

Leo sat on the wooden park bench, bird-handled magnifying glass in hand. The park was beautiful, but today it felt a little bit sad. A lost blue mitten sat on the grass, and a silver key rested near the fountain. "Everything feels lonely when it's lost," Leo whispered.
Leo hopped off the bench. "Don't worry," he told the mitten. "I'm on the case!" With Pip scurrying ahead, Leo began to scan the ground, looking for clues. He knew that even the smallest things mattered to someone.
They found a bright red ribbon snagged on a rose bush. Leo carefully untangled it, feeling the soft fabric. "Someone must be missing this," Leo said, tucking it safely into his pocket. Pip chattered happily, pointing toward the big oak tree.
