The garden was quiet as a held breath. Olivia walked softly past the bell-trees, listening to their tiny chimes. Suddenly, a soft thud landed in the clover. What could it be?

It was a tiny star-whale! Pip was glowing softly, but he looked very sad. He had fallen from the night sky and could not find his way back up. Poor Pip.

Olivia sat on the mossy ground. He did not want to scare the little whale. He took out his wooden flute and hummed a low, sweet tune.
