Elizabeth and the New Tooth Tickle

Ages 3–5

Elizabeth discovers a wobbly tooth and worries about the change, until Barnaby shows her that a little wiggle leads to a big, bright smile.

Children learn that change can feel strange at first, but with patience and support, growing up is an exciting, natural adventure.

Elizabeth was eating a crisp, cool apple when—wibble, wobble! Something felt different. Elizabeth poked her tongue against a front tooth and felt it dance back and forth.

Elizabeth jumped down and told Barnaby all about the wiggle. Barnaby gave a soft woof and tilted his head, his tail thumping against the floor. Is it a loose one?

It felt very strange. Elizabeth did not want the tooth to go anywhere! She pressed her lips together tight, but the little tooth kept wiggling whenever she spoke.
