In the garden where the tomatoes grew, Puszek was digging like she always do. Dirt flew up in a happy spray— what did Puszek find on this bright summer day?

A crinkly paper, old and brown! Hania smoothed it flat upon the ground. A dotted trail wiggled here and there. 'A map!' cried Hania. 'Let's follow it, Puszek!'

Sniff, sniff, sniff went Puszek's nose, tracking a trail that only she knows. Out the gate and down the lane— Hania held tight to Puszek's leash and its chain.
