Wielki plan Hania na jarmarku

Na jasnym, gwarnym jarmarku Hania traci mamę z oczu na kilka minut pełnych wielkich uczuć i dzięki spokojnemu planowi zostaje bezpieczna, zdobywa pomoc i odnajduje drogę z powrotem.

The fair was loud and the fair was bright — popcorn, music, a Ferris wheel light! Hania, in her striped shirt and overalls, held Mama's hand at the striped gate. "Stay close," said Mama, "and have a great day."

Before they went in, Mama knelt down close. "If you ever can't find me, remember our plan." Hania nodded big and said the words: "Stop. Stay. Ask a helper. Say your numbers."

They watched the prize ducks bob and spin. They munched warm popcorn, kernel by kernel. Hania laughed at a clown on tall wobbly stilts!
