Quando as sombras assustadoras do armário e os trovões resmungões tentam assustar Arthur na hora de dormir, o Bastão das Gargalhadas todo molenga e uma fadinha alegre da luz noturna ensinam a ele que as coisas assustadoras são, na verdade, coisas engraçadas disfarçadas.

Deep in the night, Arthur sat up in bed. Something creaked in the closet—creak, creak, CREAK! Shadow shapes stretched long and spooky. He grabbed his blanket tight. "Th-that looks scary," he whispered, voice shaking.

Then — pop! — a warm glow floated close. It was Pip, the night-light sprite! "Don't fret," Pip giggled, doing a little spark-hiccup. "A joke and a jiggle can chase fear away! Try your Giggle Stick, Arthur!"

Arthur peeked out from his blanket and slowly picked up the bendy Giggle Stick. His hands still wobbled a little. "O-okay," he breathed. "Let's try. Tap, wiggle, giggle-boo!"
