In the garden where the tomatoes grew, Барсик was digging like she always do. Dirt flew up in a happy spray— what did Барсик find on this bright summer day?

A crinkly paper, old and brown! Аня smoothed it flat upon the ground. A dotted trail wiggled here and there. 'A map!' cried Аня. 'Let's follow it, Барсик!'

Sniff, sniff, sniff went Барсик's nose, tracking a trail that only she knows. Out the gate and down the lane— Аня held tight to Барсик's leash and its chain.
