Когда в теплице появляются загадочные ростки, а целый ряд помидоров начинает вянуть, юная сыщица Алиса по следам на листьях и с помощью индикаторных полосок pH разгадывает две садовые загадки до начала летней ярмарки.

Алиса loved mysteries almost as much as she loved plants. So when Nana Pearl found a tray of unlabeled seed packets in the greenhouse, she grabbed her brass magnifying glass at once. "Every seed has a story," she whispered. "Let's find theirs."

"Look!" said Miles, pointing at a corner bed outside. "The tomatoes on the left are all droopy, but the ones on the right look perfectly fine!" Алиса tilted her head. Two mysteries in one morning. This was going to be a very good day.
