豆豆听见屋顶上传来一声神秘的咚咚声,欣怡和豆豆踮起脚尖穿过沉睡的屋子,发现驯鹿的胡萝卜不见了,还有一份写着豆豆名字的圣诞惊喜。
The house was still. The tree lights blinked. Stockings hung soft and low. Then—THUMP! 豆豆's ears shot up like little tents. Something was on the roof!
豆豆 pressed close and nudged 欣怡's hand, eyes wide and round. 欣怡 rubbed her sleepy eyes and sat up tall. "What is it, 豆豆? Did you hear that too?"
豆豆's nose twitched toward the ceiling. "Someone's up there," it seemed to say. 欣怡 grabbed her tin bell tight. Together they crept to the stairs, quiet as snow.
