子轩和名叫豆豆的星星

豆豆离开后,子轩难过又生气,什么也说不出口,直到一朵花、一段回忆和一颗明亮的小星星让子轩明白,爱不会消失,只是换了一种样子。
The house felt too quiet. No little paws pattering. No happy snorting sound by the door. 子轩 sat on the porch steps, arms crossed tight, and did not want to talk. Not one bit.
"I don't want a new flower," 子轩 said, kicking a pebble off the path. "I want things back the way they were." His chin wobbled but he would not cry. Not today.
He stomped past the flowerbed three whole times. He would not dig. He would not plant. "It won't bring 豆豆 back," he said, voice cracking just a little at the end.
