Out, out, bad luck! She chases the last speck under the table where Bao the cat pounces, batting dust bunnies like they're the best toy in the whole house.
奶奶 Mei's hands are dusted white with flour. "Sweep it clean, start anew," she sings, and hands 诗涵 a small red lantern to hang by the door.
